As I walk through the shadow of the passing hour
its seeps away in a dripping shower
the light fades
and the reasons grey
and gone are reasons for yesterday
and there is no reason for tomorrow to be
and I dont have reason to look up to see
for the future is a blur
and I know not why
there are no absolutes
and truth is a lie
for the waters rush over me and the clouds float away
and absolution is relative
I seek the sway
the sway of the floods
to envelope my soul
and take it away
for there is no tomorrow.....................
